What is the Sound of the Border? is a sound investigation initiated by Ultra-red and Free Home University members with refugees and asylum seekers to collectively interrogate the border-industrial complex. The central device is listening as a way to organize and reclaim forms of solidarity at the border, ultimately to understand better how to dismantle it.
During the encounter, we will listen to a selection of sound objects, contribute our own words to the emerging collective lexicon of the border, and share our experiences from the border wherever it finds us
