haubrok foundation
The haubrok foundation was established in 2008 and is dedicated to promoting contemporary art through supporting exhibitions with works from the Haubrok Collection or others as well as cooperations with artists. This includes the ongoing production of artist editions, publications and catalogues.
In line with the collection, the foundation’s focus is primarily on conceptual art, which puts first and second generation artists in context with contemporary positions.
The resulting collaborative practice does not end with a partnership with the artists, but also extends to institutions such as Hamburger Bahnhof with the exhibition „Church for Sale“ on the occasion of the museum’s 25th anniversary, Kino International with different film festivals and Berlin HAU as part of the annual event series „Tanz im August“, among others.
In addition to several artist editions, the foundation has already published 15 books with various publishing houses, ranging from catalogues to conceptual works, some of which objectively depict the creative process of the respective artist.
