bleu.

bleu. is a contemporary music and literature label founded in Berlin. Since 2022, it has published the works of J.J. Zana, including his first two books — Cycles / Script — and a series of sound projects. For this edition, the label invited May Franzen to exhibit her first publication: a graphic poetry book called ‘Between Animals’ -

Animals don‘t talk - which is why we never think about how a cockroach experiences their daily chores, or what it‘s like for a worm when it‘s pierced by a hook. Between Animals transcends the boundaries of language through graphic poetry, offering new perspectives on the wordless realities of strange species. We follow our cohabitants as they go about their daily tasks, immersing ourselves with them in a more tangible parallel world.
