Spotz – Miss Read

Spotz

My name is Pete Voelker and I am a working artist and photographer. I launched my publishing imprint Spotz in 2018 with a community-oriented call and response project titled PIX. I wanted and created an inclusive platform that is free of gate keeping and celebrates photography in an accessible way. I invite people to participate in projects with call's for entry that are open to all. The longest running publication, PIX, has published 870 submissions from more than 25 countries across 30 portfolios. Spotz has also published three hardcover photography books and additional zines, including another limited edition series titled Artist Portfolios, a space for artists to flush out an idea or highlight a project, fully supported by Spotz.
