Umbigo Magazine – Miss Read

Umbigo Magazine

Umbigo [Belly button] is an editorial platform consisting of a daily online magazine, a quarterly printed magazine and UmbigoLAB (www.umbigolab.com), a network platform for artists and agents working within the art field. Umbigo was created in 2002 and since 2022 that the publication has been promoting the dialogue between politics and contemporary art, inviting artists, curators and thinkers to develop either covers, art projects, and visual essays specifically conceived for the magazine, or written essays, multiple dialogues, extensions, and interviews. This year we are working on the themes Centres/Margins, Post Rational and Connection/Disconnection.
