Maira Fragoso Peña

Maira Fragoso Peña is an editorial and graphic designer from Mexico. Her work focuses on art, culture, architecture, social impact, knowledge and data dissemination. She collaborates with cultural institutions, publishing houses, and non-profit organizations in the areas of visual identities, editorial design and web design.

Pascale Obolo

Pascale Obolo (born in Yaoundé) is an independent film-maker, researcher, curator, activist and chief editor of the art magazine Afrikadaa. She is also the founder and director of the African Art Book Fair (AABF), an independent publishing fair focusing on editorial practices and supporting qualitative and unique publishing practices. She started collaborating with Miss Read in 2020.

Michalis Pichler

Founder and Director
Michalis Pichler (born in Berlin) is an artist primarily operating independent from the commercial gallery system, and a founder and organizer of Miss Read and Conceptual Poetics Day. He invented recto-verso collage and uses both pages as canvases and canvases as pages for art works. A monograph of his practice was published by Spector Books and Printed Matter, Inc.

Julia Gwendolyn Schneider

Julia Gwendolyn Schneider is a scholar of cultural studies, writer, critic, and editor in Berlin and Berkeley, CA. Her essays, reviews and interviews have appeared in Camera Austria, springerin, taz, Yishu, LEAP and Berliner Gazette among others. She has written texts for exhibition catalogues, anthologies and artist monographs. Her work explores issues related to contemporary art and theory, digital technologies, decolonial practices, as well as the intersections of these fields.

Derya Türkmen

Social Media, Press
Derya Türkmen is a film producer and journalist. She is specialized in international co-productions and socio-critical/feminist documentaries and feature films. She has done press work for her own films and is supporting Miss Read in that field since 2023.
