Book Launch with audio performances at SAFI FAYE STAGE (HKW)
lumbung radio and MISS READ welcome you to the launch of the publication “Waves: Radio as Collective Imagination." The first volume of "Journal of Contemporary Audio Practices" aims to look at radio and the sonic as political forms of collective organization, focusing on the different practices of international artists and groups, many of them part of lumbung radio community.
The launch will reflect on radio practice and take a performative form with sonic contributions from many of the lumbung radio members present at MISS READ pre-fair and fair.
The book is a collaboration between MISS READ and lumbung radio, and published by MISS READ.
The book is supported by Hauptstadtkulturfonds, KONE foundation and Frame Contemporary Art Finland.
