Soi Books merges documentary filmmaking with art and design publishing. "Soi," meaning street in Thai, nods to our ASEAN heritage and guides our exploration of global urban narratives. With our background in documentary films focused on development, human rights, music subcultures, and even sports, we founded Soi Books to build on this foundation. Transitioning from being long-term authors for Laurence King Publishing, we've refined our craft in creating art books, notably with the Stickerbomb series, focusing on subcultures, scenes, artists, and stories.
Operating as a fully remote business from Brussels, Jakarta, and London, we connect with creative communities worldwide and aim to support artists' growth in urban art, photography, and music. Our mission is to "Go Beneath The Surface" of diverse worlds, combining our documentary experience and insights with urban perspectives to produce impactful art and design books.
