B & D Press
B & D Press is a micro press that focus on experimental queer art zines. It is run by Jenny Lin and Eloisa Aquino, who use this platform to explore non-fictional narratives — both personal and historical – and modes of production, collaboration, presentation, and distribution of art.
Eloisa is an Afro-Brazilian-Canadian artist who has worked as a translator, writer, and journalist, while Taiwanese-Canadian Jenny Lin has an artistic practice around storytelling and autobiographical fiction. They have been collaborating since 2009 producing zines and art installations that use or evoke the printed matter. Using narrative a point of reference, the duo is interested in queer sentiment and lifestyles as a framework for reading the world.
