Displaay – Miss Read

Displaay

We are Displaay, an independent type foundry established in 2014 and based in Prague. The foundry mainly focuses on retail and custom typefaces. Our journey into book publishing began two years ago with the launch of Displaay Offline label. As a group of type and graphic designers, we decided to dive into book publishing out of a passion for typefaces and typography. We love books both as readers and designers, and although our main motivation is to showcase Displaay typefaces, we approach book-making comprehensively. Classical type specimens, in our opinion, are over. Based on these beliefs, we’re exploring new ways to present them as books with universally engaging content. Out of our love for design and typography, we not only create author books, type specimens, and posters but also other curated items that tangibly represent our typefaces.

With love, we openly admit and declare that we haven't read every single book on our shelf, even though we love and meticulously categorise and display them all. This bookend was made in collaboration with our friends designers brand, Master & Master. It’s made of sheet metal and serves as the perfect support for your beauty and intelligent books, magazines, or catalogues in your personal collection.
