Panel discussion and poetry readings at SAFI FAYE STAGE (HKW)

With endings come new beginnings. Inspired by Fasia Jansen’s words, this session invites us to courageously engage with the past to shape our future. Poets like Semra Ertan and May Ayim opened spaces where institutional and domestic violence could be transformed into healing. Poetry here becomes a tool for reparative justice, creating spaces for embodied histories, and breaking cycles of generational trauma and silencing in a world that often discredits migrant experiences.
