Pre-fair Program // Sonic Performance
Participants: Eiliyas , Robert Machiri
Robert Machiri moves through sound as a transient voyager, weaving auditory meditations into the fabric of social practice. His work breathes at the crossroads where music meets post-disciplinary creation, flowing through embodied rituals and process-driven ceremonies. Together, he and his collaborator journey through intersecting streams of listening, movement, and sonicity, excavating hidden archival treasures. Through PUNGWE—his constellation of mutable practices—they circle pan-African soundings with contemporary arts dialogues, creating sacred spaces of resonance.
Eiliyas, the feedback alchemist, joins this sonic pilgrimage as both special guest and ritual companion. Born from Macon soil, nurtured in Atlanta's embrace, and now dwelling in Berlin's creative underground, they craft symphonies from music, sound design, creative writing, and conceptual art. As host and curator of Mixtape Menage, Eiliyas opens doorways for souls to discover creators and cultural facilitators across the globe through the universal language of sound.
Together, they will conjure an improvisational sonic performance—two voices merging into one spontaneous exploration of frequencies, rhythms, and resonances yet to be discovered.
