Adagio for Things

Adagio for Things is an independent publication-and-exhibition platform initiated and operated by me, Wilfred Wagner.
Since 2023 Adagio for Things has published and presented a series of artists books developed in close collaboration with various artists working within the realm of performance. I initiated Adagio for Things last year, to address the need for a platform that could produce, publish and present artist's publications in a more public context and engage a discourse of the performative and democratising potential of printed matter.
The platform is currently hosted and presented at O-overgaden, institute for contemporary art, in Copenhagen.
All publications have so far been edited and designed by me.
I am a visual artist working with printmaking and publishing for a number of years. I have participated in Miss Read several times before as KLD Repro (active 2014-2020) together with Kristian B. Johansson.
