Alisha Lucia Davidson

My name is Alisha Lucia Davidson and I'm a queer artist and illustrator currently based in London, UK. My work is bold and empowering, focusing on themes of gender, the body and mental health. I've created zines on many subjects ranging from an addiction to WebMD to EMDR therapy to a fear of sleepovers. I primarily create publications using Risograph printing with an attention to craft and hand binding.

"I came for the pleasure but I stayed for the pain" is a the first in a series of mini zines that uses humour to address the fantasy of being an artist vs. the hard realities of being one. Printed with Risograph printing, using black ink on Munken pure cream.
