Analog Typologies
Analog Typologies is an independent publishing house dedicated to printing publications that explore counter-hegemonic narratives about cities and their inhabitants. Through collaborations with researchers, artists, and photographers, we document urban phenomena that challenge dominant perspectives on space, memory, and social structures.
Sustainability, for us, is both a material and conceptual commitment. We prioritize small-scale, low-waste printing methods and work with local printers to reduce our carbon footprint. More importantly, we see publishing as a tool for cultural sustainability—preserving marginalized urban narratives that might otherwise disappear or go unnoticed. By making room for alternative ways of seeing the city, we challenge extractivist approaches to urban development and propose more just, inclusive, and sustainable futures.
