Arts of the Working Class
AWC is a multi-lingual street journal on poverty and wealth, art, and society. Since 2018 it has created sustainable connections between a plurality of voices: artists, academics, urbanists, art institutions of different countries and languages, and vulnerable members of society. Everyone who sells this street journal earns money directly. Vendors keep 100% of the sales.
AWC is published five times per year in number of + 75,000 copies per issue. Street distribution takes place in Berlin, Frankfurt, Cologne, Munich, Venice, Milan, and other cities in Europe in cooperation with local art initiatives.
