Ateliér grafického designu Scholastika Praha
We are students of graphic design, which is now in its 6th year as part of the Scholastika School of Visual Communication, located in Prague, Czech Republic. This department currently has approximately 30 male and female students who actively participate in full-time study and work on semester assignments.
On behalf of the graphic design studio (AB) at Scholastika we would like to present, this year's assignment for the summer semester with the working title - The most beautiful Czech printed matter - thing, object, book, page, font, text, paper, binding. We deliberately left the topic somewhat open, as the aim was to explore what a book is or can be. Does it have a given form and content? Or can it be other than the classically expected object with its sewn binding, hardcover boards and breadboard typeface of tens to hundreds of pages?
