Concordia University Press
Launched in 2016, Concordia University Press is a new non-profit publisher of scholarly books. Our list of peer-reviewed books is organic and growing, with a focus on disciplines in the humanities, social sciences, and fine arts.
Equity, diversity, inclusion, decolonization, Indigenization, and social justice are at the foundation of our work. We are proud that our books tell diverse stories by diverse authors. Concordia University Press is committed to barrier-free scholarship and our books are available for free online, as well as for sale in thoughtfully designed print editions.
Our Text/Context artist writings series publishes collections of essays, statements, articles, lectures, and other written interventions by Canadian artists. In bringing together artists’ written works, the books in the series illuminate an artist’s relationship not only to her/his/their own work, but to their peers and to broader social, economic, cultural, and political questions.
