Fab Lab Barcelona is a esearch and education centre rethinking the way we live, work and play around the world. Our mission at Fab Lab Barcelona is to provide access to the tools, knowledge and means to educate, innovate and invent using technology and digital fabrication to allow anyone to make (almost) anything. We create the opportunity for communities and citizens to improve global and local lives and livelihoods.

One of the key projects of Fab Lab Barcelona is the Distributed Design Platform, co-funded by the European Union. The Distributed Design Platform acts as an exchange and networking hub for the European maker and design movement. Through carefully curated annual activities, our goal is to support emerging talents, facilitate the acquisition of new skills, foster networking and promotion opportunities, and contribute to the development of a thriving and resilient creative ecosystem.
