Editorial Tubito

Editorial Tubito is the personal project of Bruno Garay, who self-publishes using heteronyms. Bruno is an anthropologist, but he never felt comfortable with academic writing, so he decided to focus on fiction literature, and then he began to design his own zines, which prints with different techniques such as risograph, screen printing, offset, xerography and stamps.
Regarding the identity of the project, Tubito publishes experimental zines, short stories and rare chronicles, using a lo-fi and sometimes pulp aesthetic.

"La policía me pinchó el teléfono," wich means "the police tapped my phone", consists of three short stories about young Chilean radical anarchists in the early 2000s.

"Clobetasol destruye enemigos" is part of a trilogy dedicated to corticosteroids, hormones that are treated in the fanzine as if they were spirits or angels that are invoked to solve problems in the body of an allergic person and in the world.

"Las huestes de Babalon" narrates different episodes in the life of Nina Zimmerman, a girl who once had a black metal band, and then abandoned music to worship the devil and practice witchcraft.

"Vos nunca estuviste en Memphis", or You've Never Been to Memphis, is an imaginary journey. Someone dreams about its streets and inhabitants based on the narrative of Memphis rap lyrics.
