Fake Office

Fake Office is an independent curatorial and publishing platform. Based in Athens, it operates from a city shaped by overlapping histories, migrations, economic shifts and cultural reinvention—conditions that inform its practice. While grounded in Greece, the platform works across borders, collaborating with artists, writers and cultural practitioners from Europe, the Mediterranean and beyond.

Fake Office approaches publishing as a practical way of recording, amplifying and shaping contemporary artistic production. Its primary focus explores the tension between reality and its counterforms, including fiction, simulation, myth, propaganda and staged narratives. Each publication examines how contemporary artistic practices frame, manipulate or destabilise accepted notions of the real. Through artist books, zines and collaborative editions, Fake Office produces concept-driven works that engage questions of truth and fabrication against the backdrop of contemporary uncertainties.
