Galerie der abseitigen Künste

All knowledge is incomplete. Our knowledge is always only transitively correct. For this reason, our projects find their beginning in one medium and with a certain content, but remain open and constantly unfinished, possibly to expand their content via another medium, or to transition into something new.

For us, projects mean communicating content from different perspectives via different media and thus expanding cognition. Whether image, word, film, sound, discussion or representation - we move in between and need everything to approach the complexity of the world.

It is the fictitious story of the creation and development of the electric guitar, continued until 2083. The book contains a USB stick with two performances and a lecture on this story, totalling a length of 7 hours.

Um die Geschichte als Fortschritt im Bewusstsein der Freiheit steht es heute so schlecht wie selten zuvor. Da liegt es nahe, es noch einmal mit dem Anfang aller Befreiung zu versuchen: mit dem Kampf auf Leben und Tod, der gegen ausnahmslos alle Herrschaft und gegen jede Knechtschaft zu führen ist. Wird dieser Kampf zunächst die Sache von wenigen sein, ändert das nichts daran, dass er stets und überall für alle ausgefochten wird.
