HAM + NORI

We are a group of friends called HAM + NORI (Haeun, Melisa, Noel and Putri), met and study together in HfG Offenbach. We bonded over working in the same studio and sharing similar love and passion for illustration, comics and graphic design. We experiment with various mediums like print, risography, photography, small-scale publications and zines to explore our topics of interests developed from our reflections in life as women of colour in modern society.

A girl turned into a stone upon & wish to escape a nightmare called adulthood as a woman. This illustration book of 14 individual illustrations is a compilation of alternate endings for the girl who became a stone, which has the ability to develop into various gemstones depending on the geological conditions.

A photo book featuring analog images taken in Indonesia. Adem Ayem explores documents the aesthetics of Javanese culture and is an exploration of the feeling of ‘Ruhe’.
