INVADE- – Miss Read

INVADE-

INVADE- is a collective of three queer black women namely, Queenzela Mokoena, Omphemetse Ramatlhatse, and Nyakallo Phamuli. We are changemakers and cultural workers that specialise in Riso printing, silkscreen printing, book design as new and alternative forms of publications.

INVADE- is fundamentally interested in the discourse around the value of knowledge and power in different spaces and instututions. Using our mobile archive briefcase, we engage and collect content around identity politics, sexuality, social cultures, race theory, as well as the personal and public narratives embedded in the South African experience.

Our mission is to create and capture new ways that bring value and dignity to our community.
