Katarína Poliačiková / Felix Sandberg – Miss Read

Katarína Poliačiková / Felix Sandberg

Katarína Poliačiková is a visual artist and writer based in Slovakia. She authentically combines visual art with literary intimacy, highlighting the importance of discovering beauty in the everyday. She sees storytelling as a meaningful way to connect with others, the land, and ourselves. Through photography, video, text, and performance, she uses art as a vessel for cultivating deep attention and empathy. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including residencies in Europe, the U.S., and Japan.

Felix Sandberg (Germany) explores existential philosophical questions in his art: love, life, and one’s own existence. He aims to open eyes and encourage viewers to question their daily routines. The beauty of the moment—as a symbol of both finitude and meaning—is a core recurring theme throughout his mostly photographic work.

Together, their work creates a dialogue, urging us to find meaning and empathy in the essence of our daily lives.
