Kinbaku Society of Berlin magazine

We are a group of international artists (Germany, UK, Spain, France, Netherlands, Poland...) researching the socio-cultural aspects of traditional Japanese rope bondage, its influences and crossovers with other subcultures, performative arts and media production. We publish a quarterly print magazine since 2019 (17 issues) x 500 copies, distributed internationally, and a very passionate community of readers.
However we are a niche publication, our topics include a variety of topics interesting to many: Rituals, Masks, Skin & Ink, Pulp & Western Bondage, Fairy Tales, Fashion, Death, Porn and Censorship, Ugliness, Metamorphosis... By participating in MissRead, we would like to offer our artistic research to a wider audience.
