Kiss and Tell Press
As an artist with roots in writing, my practice is the gradual moving away from literature's cerebral intellectuality towards a more embodied narration that the act of drawing facilitates. I began making artists books because prose, my medium for almost thirty years, was not enough. I create stories in ways that feel closer to the lived experience of war, chronic illness, and exile through the broad, expansive, and chaotic gestures of drawing.
