kyklàda.press
kyklàda.press is a series of compact books initiated by artist David Bergé and grounded in the Aegean archipelago, the island group marked by Izmir, Athens, and Crete.
A publishing experiment in embodied, critical, and material forms of writing. kyklàda.press consists of a growing series of compact softcover books with a unified design featuring textual and visual essays.
The series tackles major societal issues through the prism of island communities around the world, tackled from the perspective of Cycladic islands in the Aegean Sea.
Five to six contributors from different practices craft each book together, relaying knowledge derived from lived experiences on islands.
kyklàda.press currently has 10 titles in catalogue, 3 more are expected in spring 2025.
