Lia Nalbantidou and L. Loves Artists’ Books (L.LAB), founded by L.N., with the support of Stratos Kalafatis / Studiotessera, Ioustini Drakoulakou / iou.d.other.practices and Nikos Kachrimanis, came into life as an initiative having as main objective to by-pass problems of invisibility. L.LAB outset, photobooks and artists' books, self - published or otherwise, aim is to illuminate the contemporary culture and the environs of the blurry, greek niche of Southeastern Europe we reside in. Driven by our experience with photography and our love for the printed matter, the visual arts and storytelling; we support photobook paper-format narratives and we conduce the creation of a self-publications collective her/his story.
