mag_and_mov archive

mag_and_mov is an independent archive and curated printed matter project exploring overlooked visual cultures through editorial research, underground publishing, film-related ephemera, fetish and subcultural archives. Operating between research, collecting, and contemporary art book fair culture, the project connects Western and Japanese countercultures, experimental publishing, and visual archives. Alongside archival material, mag_and_mov develops independent in-house publications and ongoing editorial research projects.
