Matt Rota

I am an artist working between New York and Berlin. I am the author of two books on drawing, Pencil Arts Worksop, and The Art of Ballpoint. My illustrations appear in magazines including Die Zeit, and the NY Times. I have an extensive history of self publishing art books, Risograph zines and comics, including the titles Moon Beach, Evil Eye, Dead Castles, Peninsula, Land Rush, Darlings, and others. At Miss Read 2026, I intend to exhibit my self published works alongside new works and prints.
