ninemoons is a collaborative editorial practice interested in what emerges through editing with four hands, integrating knowledge from fine arts, anthropology, book design.

ninemoons works within shifting constellations at the intersection of artistic practice and research, making own editions and realizing books for others. At the centre of our practice lies an attention to the editorial mode of thinking and making itself, of placing and relating content.

ninemoons approaches the book as a spatial medium in which different materials, voices, and forms of knowledge encounter one another, sometimes aligning, sometimes producing friction or unknown possibilities. From these entanglements another dimension emerges — what we refer to as a third content.

Within this context, our editorial practice contributes to a broader ecology of independent and experimental publishing.
