Pamoja Press
Pamoja Press is a publishing house that specializes in artistic books, exhibition catalogs of Polish artists, translations of critical thought, and original essays. Our mission is to provide space for voices that are often marginalized in public discourse, as social inequalities are reproduced both materially and discursively. Our publications are created in collaboration with artists, educators, and academics, and they accompany the activities carried out by the Razem Pamoja Foundation.
We publish the quarterly magazine "Empiria," dedicated to contemporary Polish art as well as social, cultural, and educational issues. Each edition features articles, interviews, and essays from artists, educators, and academics from around the world. From the beginning, we have addressed the topic of decolonization and have worked on collaborative initiatives in Kenya, Haiti, and Indonesia, offering insights into global inequalities and the connections between post-socialist Eastern Europe and the Global South. Recently, we have expanded our thematic focus to include an ecofeminist line, particularly exploring hydrofeminism, which examines the relationship between water, the environment, and gender equality.
