Pessima

Pessima is a collective, Trans* led centre born in 2021 in Milan from Simona Coltello and Marte Gastaldello, with the aim of supporting the growth and creation of Trans* and Non Binary projects. Born as an artistic collective, it has now become an independent publishing house with its own Magazine and exhibition curator. Pessima Magazine is the editorial project we're most excited to bring at Miss Read. It is an annual magazine that aims to become an important point of convergence for international, contemporary art of our Trans* community. A project that expands the dialogue on gender and identity, and presents it in the way it is lived in relation to artistic practice.
