KARBONE ÉDITIONS is a non-profit organization based in Montpellier (South France), producing artists' publications since 2016.KARBONE ÉDITIONS works in collaboration with artists and authors to publish unique objects that question our relationship to image and text. By using the form of the book as a field of research and experimentation (the publishing house has its own workshop for riso printing and bookbinding), KARBONE ÉDITIONS tends to make contemporary issues (ecology, economy, relations between artists and publishers) resonate with a DIY aesthetic. Make books directly with artists, to highlight their practice while engaging in an alternative economy that is as circular and responsible as possible.
