Precious Liquid Media

Precious Liquid is a platform for sharing erotic art in playful forms. As a
publishing house, we pay special attention to graphic design, working with
young designers who take experimental approaches to typography and
layout. Our books are printed in offset, often with Pantone spot colors (such
as bright pink or metallic silver ink), to give the printed object a unique quality
something more than just a monographic work.

The magazine features twelve guest artists. Its content is multidisciplinary, approaching sexuality and eroticism from a positive and playful perspective. For this edition, we invited

the artists to work around the notion of SWEET. It includes, among other things, a short story by science fiction author Saul Pandelakis; comics by Julien Ceccaldi, Margot Sounack, and

editorial illustrator Yann Bastard; photographs by Marie Ourdiya Atcheba; and an interview with nurse and drag performer Lindsharry on sexual health.

The magazine is printed using a deep brownish-black Pantone and a fluorescent fuchsia.

For the CMYK images, we replaced the black and magenta with our custom Pantone inks, exploring the possibilities offered by offset printing. It is staple-bound—a choice that plays on the contrast between refined, experimental printing.

The idea was to transpose the spirit of the magazine into space in an exhibition of works by artists we have worked with in the past, a traveling suitcase exhibition. previous contributors has presents original works, editions, and objects, alongside Seoul-based artists responding to the notion of “Fatigue” — understood as exhaustion under capitalism, but also as jet lag, altered states, and dreams.
