Rocío Madrid

Hello, I´m Rocío Madrid, visual artist and hotographer based in Melilla, North Africa. I have been making fanzines and researching multiple editorial formats for twelve years, being a regular at fairs such as Ghent, Libros Mutantes, Recreo... Now I am located in my homeland researching new formats such as ceramics, which are also pieces that I take to the fairs. My approach works on the everyday from poetry and the reflection of my North African identity, capturing it in zines, prints and ceramic pieces for everyday use. It's a great opportunity to be at Miss Read and be able to share this part of the continent with you <3
