¡Ruge!

Sylvia Gomez is a visual artist, illustrator, editor, and fanzine maker focused on collaborative work and community making. Her practice addresses critical sociocultural and environmental issues through artistic expression. As a cultural agitator and networker, Sylvia Gomez integrates social dialogue into her creative projects, fostering community through visual storytelling and fanzines.

¡Ruge! "roar" is the motto from which he has developed editorial and collective projects.

At my stand, I will have graphic work of my own published by other Colombian publishers, and work by other artists published by Ruge!

Each issue focuses on a different theme and features contributions from various Latin American authors. Topics include making a living from art, the evils of capitalism, the art audience, art and politics, competitions and calls for submissions, and collaborative work.
