solipCyst
I am Khashayar "Kess" Mohammadi, a nonbinary, Queer, Iranian-born, Toronto based poet, writer and translator who have been making zines and chaplets in conjunction with special events. Although most of my chaplets have been event specific (for example a chaplet of a single poem in conjunction for a fellow poet's reading of the same poem), I have also made zines in three separate imprints for the press: Under solipCyst I publish established Canadian and American poets, under RAVE i publish dance culture writing, under serial, I publish event-based writings produced, stamped and dated for the event itself.
As a lover of poetry I do enjoy producing poetry in its most minuscule formats with the most minimal designs, however, As an organizer I see the importance of preserving events and their ethereal connection to the world of writing through material artefacts that explore that specific moment in time.
