Tarantula Collective
The Tarantula Collective is a network of female Brazilian visual artists based in Berlin founded in 2024.
We met for the first time on a Woman’s Day and decided to bring our individual stories and talents together. Powered by the will to share our voices and experiences with the world, as a collective, we narrate our adaptation and belonging stories, creating connections and submerging in the Berlin art scene, without losing our tropical roots.
The multi-faceted eyes of Tarantula Collective seek to see beyond borders, employing different media and celebrating diversity. With threads, objects, lines and words, we interlace our individual experiences as Latin American women to build a collective web.
