Tehran Zine – Miss Read

Tehran Zine

Established in 2021 by Amir Moghtada and Saghi Parkhideh, Tehran Zine aims to empower young Iranian artists by providing a platform to create, publish, and showcase Zines—“Art in the form of a booklet.” The initiative seeks to introduce Zines as a dynamic creative medium to both Iranian artists and collectors.

The issues published by Tehran Zine can be divided into:
• The Special Edition, created by an invited artist.
• The Young Artist Edition, featuring works selected through Tehran Zine’s open calls and reviewed by a jury.

Tehran Zine also operates a dedicated space in the center of Tehran in which it holds our Zine launches and also serving as a hub for self-publishing. Artists are encouraged to:
• Join workshops to develop their projects.
• Explore Tehran Zine’s growing collection of international Zines
• Utilize a specialized library in our space offering resources on publishing techniques, technical guides, and theoretical works related to publishing.
