TEMPTRESS

Temptress is an independent erotic art magazine founded by Berlin-based Ukrainian artist and photographer Julie Poly. The publication explores eroticism as a cultural, artistic, and political language through contemporary art, photography, poetry, and essays. Each issue is conceived as an exhibition in print, inviting artists to investigate themes of sexuality, intimacy, gender, and desire without censorship.

Inspired by the visual culture of early-2000s erotic magazines and the experimental spirit of contemporary art publishing, Temptress merges bold aesthetics with critical reflection. Contributors include emerging and established artists working across disciplines, creating a space where erotic imagery becomes a tool for questioning norms and expanding ideas about the body and pleasure.

Published twice a year and distributed internationally through independent bookstores and art institutions, Temptress exists both as a collectible object and a platform for artists who approach eroticism with curiosity, humor, and radical imagination.
