WIRWIR PUBLISHES

WIRWIR is an artist run project space in B-Neukölln with an emphasis on community facing events strongly focused on social practice. The publishing component of our space is generated out of our own artist projects in addition to collaborations with other publishers. Most of the projects we do are self-generated.

This workbook gives prompts that riff off of found, black and white vernacular photographs which are taped into the publication. As a result, every publication in this series is different.
The photographs are transportive giving the reader a wide array of possibilities to interact with the photographs in ways they might have never imagined.

This publication has collected over 380 advice cards, by way of visitors using a typewriter which was set up at 5 different international book/zine fairs including Miss Read, Indiecon (Hamburg), Bergen Art Book Fair (Bergen, NO), FLYLEAF BOOK AND ZINE FESTIVAL (Berlin), Off Register (Santa Barbara, CA/USA), and MiraLooks Books (Madrid, ES).
The advice is, as the title implies, from everyone about everything.
