Story of the Zavod P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. / P74 Gallery - established as an artist-run-space - is a story about practitioners who make spaces for their ideas as well for the ideas of the others.The establishing of the Zavod P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. / P74 Gallery twenty-fife years ago brought a new model of artistic institution and different methodologies of producing of exhibitions as well as an important step away from the classic type of objective exhibition towards a discursive form of operation. At that time there was no production/exhibition space in Ljubljana focused on promotion of the experimental and research driven production of visual and intermedia art.
