After 8 Books

After 8 Books is a Paris-based independent publisher. Promoting, circulating and discussing contemporary book practices, After 8 Books deals with the pragmatics and poetics of publishing. We develop projects with artists, graphic designers, writers, editors, with intellectual as well as sentimental attention. Over the past 6 years After 8 Books has released poetry books as well as novels, nonfiction, and artists’ books, with a particuler interest in contemporary, experimental and/or critical, approaches to writing.
With its branch Publication Studio Paris, After 8 Books is also part of a network of printing & publishing studios spanning 4 continents, sharing responsibility for the production and distribution of their catalogue.
