BAZAR Art Books
Bazar is an Iranian independent artist-run platform co-founded by artists Hedieh Ahmadi, based in Tehran, and Ronak Moshtaghi, based in Berlin and Oslo. Through various activities, Bazar aims to provide artists with visibility and opportunities for self-expression.
Our primary motivation for initiating this project is to foster the art of self-publishing within the contemporary Iranian art scene. Through workshops conducted in different cities across Iran, we empower young artists by equipping them with the skills necessary for self-publishing their work. Additionally, in light of the increasingly complex landscape of travel and direct connections, we facilitate the display and distribution of their creations in Europe and beyond.
At Bazar, we believe in the transformative power of self-publishing as a means of artistic expression, and we are dedicated to nurturing and promoting emerging talent within the Iranian art community.
