Canal
Canal is a co-operative queer press and bilingual magazine in English and Spanish, that supports radical, errant and experimental work by writers, artists, researchers, and poets. It is a collective action and dissonant chorus open to the leaks and streams incoming, offering books, magazines, new translations, and events created by a revolving collective.
To date there have been three issues of Canal magazine, which have collected together new and archival works including by Elisabeth Lebovici, Penny Goring, Grace Shuyi Liew, Indira Allegra, Eileen R. Tabios, Lola Clavo, Taylor Le Melle, Alex Alvina Chamberland, Mane Ferret, Aisha Sasha John, Sara Torres, Mariana Echeverri, Juliet Jacques, and Ellen van Neerven. Most recently, Canal published and toured the poetry collections 'Chaos Rehearsals' by Madeleine Stack and 'Réplica' by Rebecca Close, and the fiction collection 'Frot the World' by Fer Boyd.
