Dutch Independent Art Book Publishers (DIABP)
DIABP is a collective of small independent publishers specialised in art, photography, and artist books. We are artists, photographers, designers who publish books independently. We focus on strong concepts, great design, high-quality printing and binding. The collective was founded in Amsterdam in 2016. DIABP members are: Bas Fontein with BASBOEK Publishers, Sanne van den Elzen, Louis Reith with Jordskred, Jan Dirk van der Burg, Mémé Bartels with Sequence Publishers, Daniëlle van Ark with Dark Editions, and Annegien van Doorn.
We collaborate to be on artist book fairs, to share costs and energy. For us, it's essential to represent our work, to make contact with visitors and to inform them about our projects. We want to share our passion for books. Some previous fairs we've attended: New York Art Book Fair, UNSEEN in Amsterdam, Offprint London and Paris, L.A. Art Book Fair, The Tokyo Art Book Fair, and many others.
