House of INVADE-

House of INVADE- is a collective of two queer black women namely, Queenzela Mokoena and Nyakallo Phamuli. We are artists, changemakers and cultural workers that specialise in Riso printing, Self-Publishing Facilitation and Book Design as new and alternative forms of publications in the context of South Africa.

House of INVADE- is fundamentally interested in the discourse around the value of knowledge and power in different spaces and instututions. Using our mobile archive briefcase, we engage and collect content around identity politics, sexuality, social cultures, race theory, queer theory as well as the personal and public narratives embedded in the black South African experience.

Our mission is to create and capture alternate ways of being through subjective narratives that help bring value, agency and dignity to our community.
