House of INVADE-
House of INVADE- is a collective of two queer black women namely, Queenzela Mokoena and Nyakallo Phamuli. We are artists, changemakers and cultural workers that specialise in Riso printing and book design as new and alternative forms of publications in the South African context.
House of INVADE- is fundamentally interested in the discourse around the value of knowledge and power in different spaces and instututions. Using our mobile archive briefcase, we engage and collect content around identity politics, sexuality, social cultures, race theory, as well as the personal and public narratives embedded in the black, female and queer South African experience.
Our mission is to create and capture alternate ways of being that help bring value, agency and dignity to our own stories within our community.
